MENTORSHIP TRAINING UNDERWAY IN MZUZU
Logos Ministries is conducting a 2-day mentorship training from Tuesday, 26th May to Wednesday 27th May 2026 for its trainees at Logos North campus in Mzuzu. This training brings together 14 local facilitators for Logos Training in various centres across the Northern Region. The objectives of this training are to:
· Promote Scriptural familiarisation and deep understanding of core Christian doctrines rooted in Scripture and/or Reformed Tradition.
· Multiply servant-leaders who model Christ-like character and can fully represent organisational objectives.
· Enhance biblical exposition, sermon structure, and delivery techniques.
· Promote Christian character development and stewardship through faithful management of resources, time, and the welfare of the participants.
The local facilitators have thanked Logos for the timely training, which will significantly contribute to their work as trainees. “We are confident that what we have learnt will positively contribute towards the training. We are equipped with not only knowledge but practical leadership experience necessary for our work as local facilitators,” the trainees said.
The coordinator for Logos North, Mr. Yohane Yakobe, has thanked Logos for much-needed training.
Logos Ministries regards mentorship programmes as essential for its staff and trainees, nurturing spiritual growth, developing leadership skills, and ensuring the long-term health and continuity of the church and ministry. These programmes foster a culture of "iron sharpening iron," in which experienced leaders guide emerging leaders, creating a supportive network that strengthens the overall ministry.
